While some people give up and try to find other alternatives in challenging times, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant has described challenges as stepping stones and mines of possibilities for him.
He made this known in an interview with Rev Erskine on the YLeaderboard Series on Y 107.9FM.
According to him, rather than giving up in times of challenges, “I’ll rather solve a problem, or get something good out of the situation”.
To him, an opportunity or a series of them lie in every challenge. “Instead of crying over that challenging situation, l will rather take advantage of the opportunity it presents to make an impact in my life or that of others”.
In addition he said, “negative energy can overwhelm you to a point that your own rational thinking is dislocated to the extent of you being a beast but positive energy helps a lot”.
He told listeners not to be moved by happenings around them because, “most of the time, we are not able to control some of these things.
His advise to listeners was, “do not be moved by the happenings around you but rather, use your mind for better things. And always make it a choice to be happy”.
