Former Black Avenue Muzik signee, Dahlin Gage, has confessed that being an artiste without a record label is a bit tough to handle.
In an interview with Kokonsa Kester on Y107.9FM’s Weekend Rush, he was asked how things have been going for him musically since he parted ways with D-Black’s record label back in 2019 to which he gave this response.
“Obviously, with the label, Black knows a lot of people so you’ll be getting some benefits thanks to him. Going solo on the other hand, is a bit rough but I’m a man so I can push through”, he said.
Dahlin Gage left BAM in 2019 because according to him, it was a bit of a worry for him not getting to release songs as regularly as he liked to. He acknowledged that D-Black was doing a good job, however, he felt there was a lot of pressure on him since there were about seven artistes under him at the time hence, he (Dahlin) decided to go solo and D-Black understood.
Dahlin Gage just released a new Amapiano song titled ‘Give Dem’ which is currently out on all streaming platforms and is making waves on tiktok as well with a dance challenge.
