Executive Director of Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC), Mr. Benjamin Gyan-Kesse has shared that he has had his eye on innovation in Ghana’s agricultural sector since his childhood days.
Speaking to Rev Erskine, the host of Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show, Mr. Gyan-Kesse mentioned how enthusiastic he was towards agriculture while growing up. “I remember one time when one gentleman came to our church speaking about job creation and opportunities; I remembered that my mother had canned mushrooms on her kitchen shelf; and I believed that Ghana can also do same”.
The Agribusiness specialist recounted key moments that were responsible for his broad knowledge in Agriculture including his secondary school days, which he described as very practical. “Back in SSS, we were always on the field; And the section I loved the most, was the Agric section; and I enjoyed every part of it. Making of the seed beds and all that; that was where I found my bond with the soil.” he highlighted.
