Joeboy gives reasons for his frequent visits to Ghana

Nigerian singer and songwriter Joeboy has given some reasons why he cannot stop visiting Ghana.
The Nigerian Afropop singer noted that, he is always excited whenever he is in the country because Ghanaians have been one of the strongest foundations to his music career.
Talking to Johnny Stone on Y 107.9 FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe Show he said, “The first major song I did was a Ghanaian song and that was Guilty Beats featuring King Promise. So Ghana has always been that place I’ve always got so much love from especially from the beginning of my career till now”.
He went on to say, his frequent visits to Ghana made people mistake him for a Ghanaian instead of Nigerian, “at some point even Nigerians thought I was Ghanaian because of how often I visited the country”.
Stating another reason he said, “Ghana is a peaceful country and i enjoy the serenity whenever I’m in the country”.
Joeboy stated that as a way of showing his appreciation to his fans in the country, he is randomly selecting one of his fans to feature with him in his next music video said to happen sometime within the month.
