Joeboy shares details about his new album “Somewhere between beauty and magic”

Nigerian singer and songwriter Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa professionally known as Joeboy has revealed what inspired him to put together his new album.
Talking about the inspiration behind the name of his album, he disclosed that he chose the name based on how he personally feels about music.
Talking to Jonny Stone on Y 107.9 FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe Show he said, “So basically, the theme behind the album is love. Love for yourself, your environment and love for the good things of life”.
The Afro Pop singer mentioned that he personally thinks love is beautiful and magical and is also very confident that every music he releases is beautiful and magical thus, he decided to name this new album “somewhere between beauty and magic”.
Answering why he did all the songs on the album without any collaborations Joeboy said, “left to me alone I was supposed to have a couple of features on there but, I couldn’t get the verses on time and there was a deadline that had to be met so I had to do it all alone”.
He however stated that there’s a deluxe version of the album coming out in about 2 months and urged his fans and listeners to stay tuned because he will have some amazing musicians feature on that.
“Somewhere between beauty and magic” has 14 beautiful songs on there and so far I’m impressed with the feedback I’m getting about each,” he said.
