Kidi, DopeNation and Kwami Eugene To headline Takoradi Area Codes Jam

Y 97.9 FM, Ghana’s number one urban radio station is set to bring the biggest community-based entertainment show, Area Codes Jam to Takoradi.
Over the years, Area Codes Jam has been known to be the platform for seasoned and underground artistes in Ghana to share one stage and thrill music lovers in the country.
This Takoradi Edition, slated for Saturday 21st September, 2019 at the Takoradi Mall, is set to feature performances from Kidi, with his string of hit songs including ‘Gyal Dem Sugar’, ‘Thunder’, ‘Odo’ and a host of others. The ‘Zanku’, ‘Eish’ and ‘Naami’ hitmakers, Dopenation is also going to thrill fans with groundbreaking performances. The ‘Rockstar’, Kwami Eugene is also going to set the stage ablaze with hit songs like ‘Wish Me Well’, ‘Walaahi’ and a host of others.
Also performing on the night are underground artistes in the Takoradi area who will also be making appearances on the Area Codes Jam stage and will be expected to thrill their numerous fans with tunes churned out over the years.
Programmes Manager for YFM Takoradi Mr. Agyekum Gyimah Akwasi speaking ahead of the Area Codes Jam, has assured listeners of Y 97.9 FM that this year’s event has some amazing activities lined up for them.
“As usual, you know Y 97.9 FM never dey carry last. We will thrill patrons to quality music till they jam and dance their feet off. It is also a chance for underground artiste in the Takoradi area to showcase their talent and make names for themselves on the platform. Patrons would also have the opportunity to take pictures with their favourite Y 97.9 FM presenters, DJs and other celebrities”, he stated.
