Kwesi Arthur reveals what his parents hate about his brand

Award-winning Ghanaian rap and afrobeats musician, Kwesi Arthur, has disclosed some aspects of his brand that his parents are not in support of.
Interviewed by Kojo Manuel on the Dryve of Your LYfe on Y107.9FM, he disclosed that his father is not the biggest fan of his hairstyle and although he sometimes tries to convince him to trim it a little, he refuses to do so because he loves to be himself.
“My dad didn’t like my hair and even till date, he doesn’t but this is me. I’ve taken my own path and I can’t be someone else. It doesn’t hurt anybody for me to have my hair and I like it so I’m keeping it”, he said.
Kwesi also revealed that there are times when his mother has complained about him taking off his shirt while performing on stage. Nevertheless, there has never been any point where he considered or wanted to or stop doing that.
