The most sought after TV reality show in Ghana, Live Inside and Win the Ride (LIWTR) has been nominated for the 9th edition of the Radio and Television Personality Awards.
LIWTR 19 was nominated in the TV reality Show of the Year 2019 category and, is competing for the spot with Miss Golden Stool, Talented Kids 2019 and a host of others.
The concept behind LIWTR reality show is to bring together five individuals from different backgrounds across the country to endure staying together in a five-sitter saloon car for an unknown period of time. During that period, contestants are evicted till there is one person left. The ‘last man standing’ wins the car.
To win in the reality show, contestants must be tolerant, time conscious, cunning and most of all strategic to torment – without disrespect to – fellow contestants in order to get them out of the ride.
Rules of the competition allows Contestants to have a schedule during which they can do whatever they want. With regard to the rules, a contestant is removed from the completion for being late after breaks and for disrespecting car mates. A contestant can also choose to leave the car if they cannot tolerate the other car mates after sometime.
The first season of LIWTR saw Sarah Ayim (model) win a brand new Renault Logan saloon car in 2016 and Gifty Eyram Holyfa being crowned winner of the of the second season in 2019, after a 42-day stay in the Renault Duster SUV.
Speaking about the nomination, CEO of GMA, Mr. Ernest Boateng stated that, it is always great for one’s work to be acknowledged.
“We have just begun with two successful seasons and we promise our audience with more of this reality show.
