Ghanaian musician and producer, M3NSA, has a new album coming out in late October. In a conversation with YLounge’s host Akosua Hanson, he disclosed that he was recently on a four-city tour in France with F.O.K.N Bois, during which they were commissioned by the French cultural ministry, to curate a night by selecting 4 African acts: three from Ghana, one from Nigeria and one from South Africa. When asked how he fared on his tour, M3NSA mentioned how hectic the tour was and being conscious of remaining in the moment while balancing between the tour and his personal life and family responsibilities.
Moving on in the conversation, he disclosed after an airplay of his latest song, “Healing Powers,” that it is the 4th single from his upcoming album, which is set to be released in October, with a live release event in Accra. He further mentioned that the artwork of the song was inspired by his childhood memories.
“Healing Powers” tells an important story of an individual losing their way in life and falling deep into damaging vices. They seek to go on a journey to look for answers to save them.” He stated. In conclusion, M3NSA added that music creation for him is about pushing boundaries as much as possible while on a journey.
“Healing Powers” is available for streaming on all music platforms.
