The Legon City Mall was packed to capacity on Saturday, June 22, 2024, as thousands of music enthusiasts gathered for the YFM Area Codes Jam. The event, which was part of the Wamafest celebrations, drew in a large audience who enjoyed exceptional acts and performances from emerging Ghanaian talents.
The event showcased several talented dance troupes that captivated the audience with their fusion of contemporary African dance styles. Upcoming artists also impressed the crowd with their diverse music genres, including Dance Hall, Hip Hop, Hiplife, and Afrobeats.
The audience was treated to memorable performances from Afronitaaa, Abigail Adjiri, OliveTheBoy, Guru, Keche, J. Derobie, EL, Kwaw Kese, Joey B, Efya and Kidi. However, the highlight of the evening was a surprise performance by Black Sherif, which left fans star-struck.

The event was graced by special guests from the Ghana Tourism Authority, Beyond The Return, the Musicians Union of Ghana, and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority. The Area Codes Jam showcases the power of music to bring people together, and it was clear that the crowd was united in their love for Ghanaian music.
