Nigerian-born music star, Guchi, has affirmed that her upcoming project dubbed, “Purple Diary” is one for the books.
In an exclusive interview with Brown Berry on Y107.9 FM’S “RyseNShyne”, Guchi shared that much effort was channeled into the development of the project and hence, she is confident it will break boundaries across the world.
“This is an amazing project and to me, it’s a project that is about to make a statement in the Industry. I have a single off the EP dropping next week Friday and then the EP dropping on the 4th of November,” she shared.
“The single titled, ‘I Swear’ features your favourite’s favourite, Yemi Alade,” she added.
Reacting to her admiration for purple and the idea behind the “Purple Diary”, Guchi furthered, “Purple represents royalty and you know royalty is something that comes from birth, and for me that is what I feel. You’re royal if you think you are royal and act like it. It’s not a color that is too poppy or too dull so I just chose it.”
Having released some of the best music this year, Guchi is currently on a media tour in Ghana to promote her unique sound to the rest of the world.
