Famous Afrobeats artiste and lyricist Kelvyn Brown also known as Kelvyn Boy has disclosed that his hit song ‘Down Flat’ marked the beginning of his wealth.
In an interview with Kojo Manuel x DJ Millzy on Y107.9FM’s Dryve Of Your Lyfe, the singer while recounting the nature of his life before making the hit song, indicated that he had nothing. “Before Down Flat, I was very ‘downflat’ but ever since Down Flat I have never been downflat again.” he intimated.
The songwriter attested to the evident effects of Down Flat on his life of which he stated has given his life a full makeover. “Down Flat has changed my life a lot. I used to have nothing in my name but now I can count a couple of properties in my name and I am very proud of myself.” he intimated.
According to Kelvyn Boy, Down Flat which was released in 2023 did not demand much investments during its creation. “Down Flat was one of the records I did not spend much money on. The promotion, shooting the video had a low budget, I did not do so many things but it was just there.”
He mentioned that money as a handled issue paved way for him to focus on other essential life goals like good health and relaxation.
