Even though hurtful, it is a bit heartwarming and pleasing for an artiste to dedicate a song to his deceased relation.
Gospel artist Max Praize has disclosed that his spirit-filled song ‘Yahweh’ was dedicated to his late dad.
He explained why he released the song to honour his father:
“My father died a day before my birthday, so I released the song to honour him, he said to Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) on Y 97.9 FM during the “Dryve of your Lyfe” show.
Max Praize explained how hurt he was after losing his dad. He disclosed that he was the firstborn of his parents and losing his dad hurt him so much.
“Losing my father at that time was very strong for me. I am the firstborn and all of a sudden my dad passed away, it was very hurtful and worrying,” he said.
He again explained that he was unable to promote the song because he was hurt and broken, “I couldn’t even promote the song because I was still hurt and broken,” he added.
Max Praize is a Ghanaian worshipper and an urban gospel artiste, he is known for soul-touching worship songs like ‘Yahweh’ and ‘Osahene’.
