Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to 50 days in prison.
The ex-Arsenal striker was convicted of assaulting a taxi driver and, as a result, he’s been sentenced to 50 days in jail.
The cabbie driver was left with a broken jaw in an incident that occurred in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September.
Bendtner, 30, currently plies his trade for Norwegian outfit Rosenborg. He’s set to appeal the sentence according to his lawyer.
The Danish striker has been at Rosenborg since 2017 following his transfer from Nottingham Forest, where he spent one season.
He’s also enjoyed spells at Birmingham City, Sunderland, Juventus and Wolfsburg.
