Ghanaian singer, Gyakie after returning from a fruitful working visit to Nigeria has disclosed they (Nigerians) do not just love her music but are generally in love with Ghanaian music.
The young artiste who took the Ghanaian music scene by storm plans to take over the world with her talent.
Sharing her experience from a recent media tour in Nigeria with fans on Y107.9FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe, she told host Kojo Manuel, “The love we saw on the internet is actually what it is. When I went to Nigeria, I was received in grand style. They do not just love my music but they love Ghana music as well”.
Gyakie believes Nigerians need to experience and know a lot more about the Ghanaian music scene. “And also Nigeria is a very beautiful place”, she added.
The versatile musician who just made a remix of her popular single “Forever” with Nigerian singer Omah Lay commenting on the work shared that, “We sent the song to Omah Lay and his team a few days ago and within 2 hours, he was already done with his verse and sent it back”.
Omah Lay after sending through his verse revealed in a tweet, “Fun fact: My verse on Forever (Remix) was written the first time I heard the song, way before we had any conversations about making a remix. Sent in the verse an hour after @Gyakie_ sent me the song, e shock am!
She attributed the success she has chalked so far to the hard work of her management and appreciated the efforts they put into making her who she is now, a household name.
