Barely 30 people were present at the 2017 Ghana Music Festival put together by the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Friday night at the Black Star Square.
The event, which was part of the celebrations to mark Ghana’s 60th independence anniversary celebration recorded what many have described as terrible turnout.
Obour explaining some of the reasons which led to the terrible turnout disclosed;
“We spoke to Shatta Wale and he said he wish he could support the programme but he said the money we were offering was not enough. We respected his view.
“We also spoke to Sarkodie’s team and they also said the same thing. They said they were going to tweet to support but would not come and perform.
“With the figures we were mentioning, people were not taking us serious.”
