Well the transfer window has got a bit crazy in the last few days hasn’t it. Now to add to all the mayhem surrounding Neymar, Alexis Sanchez and Kylian Mbappe, it seems that Philippe Coutinho has agreed terms with Barcelona.
Last weeks big news was that PSG were willing to not only break but smash the world record transfer into tiny pieces unseen by the human eye in order to sign Neymar from Barcelona.
The French side are reportedly on the verge of offering the near £200 million that is Neymar’s transfer release clause to bring him to Paris with the Brazilian considering the move.
Apparently the player is either unhappy at not being the main man behind Messi or is unhappy at being the only Brazilian left at the club.
Step forward Philippe Coutinho. Reportedly a Barcelona target for a while and now the man who could save them from losing one of their best players as well.
Now according to reports on Spanish radio station Catalan Radio RAC1 the Spanish side and the player have agreed a deal after representatives of the club flew to Liverpool.
Of course it doesn’t end there with rather a huge stumbling block still in the way of any deal. That of course is Liverpool not wanting to sell.
Coutinho is one of Jurgen Klopp’s best players and the German isn’t going to be willing to just hand him over to Ernesto Valverde.
According to reports Barca have already had a £72 million bid for the 25 year old former Inter attacking midfielder turned down.
