PM Foundation, a non-govermental organization founded by YFM Takoradi’s Nana Quasi-Wusu has been awarded the Volunteer Group of the Year 2021 at the Fontomfrom Amandze Awards event.
The event which took place on 4th December, 2021 at the Raybow International Hotel in Takoradi saw PM Foundation compete with other groups such as Corp Foundation, Wennette Hope Foundation and Virtuous Boardroom to emerge winner in the prestigious category.
PM Foundation, as an organization stands by its mission to support the less privileged, support young entrepreneurs and empower the youth, among others.
This definitive vision of the organization has ensured the success of many activities that have been beneficial to society and the young ones in the country.
For example, PM Foundation every year hosts the ‘Dine With The Street’ in different communities every December. Activities under this initiative include Feeding and Screening of at least 1000 people, Face Painting for Kids, Free Make Up for Adults, Bouncy Castles, Free New Clothings, Musical Performances plus pep talks, among others.
Speaking after the win, the Founder of PM Foundation, Nana Quasi-Wusu shared that he was very much enthused about this development.
He added that this award is an affirmation that good works never go unnoticed.
He also used the opportunity to appreciate his team when he stated: “I couldn’t have achieved this great success all by myself. I say kudos to the team who contribute to the ideation and execution of all activities that impact our community. It is our win and we must celebrate accordingly.”
