YFM, the home of Korean Pop in Ghana, observed the Lunar New Year with a Chinese playlist on its Sunday pop show, Pop Central.
The Chinese New Year kicked off on Saturday 25 January in China and several Asian countries with reunions and traditional performances such as the Lion and Dragon dances.
Here in Ghana, Pop Central joined in the celebrations by serving its listeners with songs from Chinese acts related to the Korean Pop scene.
On Sunday 26 January, Pop Central listeners were treated to a switch up of its weekly KPOP Top 6 and serenaded with 6 Chinese songs as voted for on Pop Central’s Twitter account @popcentralonyfm.
