Associate Minister of the Prisons Interdenominational Church, Cantonments has shared that the late Isaac De-Graft Danquah (DJ Advicer) dedicated his time to the work of God and played an instrumental role in the church’s everyday activities.
Presiding at the one-week celebration of the passing of DJ Advicer, Rev Seth Baah Agyekum dwelled on Matthew 6:33 in pronouncing the renowned radio presenter as one who invested in the kingdom of God.
“Isaac gave his time and money to the work of the Lord. He was the Youth President of the church and also served as the Choir President. Isaac wanted to be a part of everything that happened in the church and supported us with everything he had”.
Emphasising on Ecclesiastes 12:1 which reads, “Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, Life is not pleasant anymore”, he advised all present, especially the youth to learn from DJ Advicer’s dedication.
Extolling Advicer further, he intimated that he (DJ Advicer) was always excited and involved in the work of God”. DJ Advicer never missed a day in church whenever he was in Accra and always made his presence felt.
On a personal level, Rev Seth Baah Agyekum who was the late DJ Advicer’s neighbour recounted how he (Advicer) would always call him every Sunday morning to make sure he (Rev Seth) was prepared for church. “I would always reply to him saying don’t push me and he’ll will tell me, you’ll go yourself”.
Happy FM’s DJ Advicer passed away on March 4, 2021 after suffering from a short illness.
The report indicated that the presenter died after a brief illness. The host of the station’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ was well renowned and recognized for being the best music promoter in the Ghana music industry.
He has left a legacy too big to fill and will always remain in the hearts of Ghanaians.
