Ravers unwind with Y-Takoradi’s ‘PM2AM’ activation

Y97.9FM, Takoradi turned up the atmospheric party pressure of the oil city a couple of decibels high with its activation, ‘PM2AM Rave’.
The 12-hour long non-stop virtual musical concert dedicated to fans and listeners of Y-Takoradi to wind down from a stressful week, started at 6 pm on Friday till 6 am Saturday.
The variety of DJs from across the country all provided listeners with customized tunes associated with the YFM brand, and the brand’s audience cannot stop talking about it.

Y97.9FM, Takoradi was represented by PM, DJ Edita, DJ Gunshot, TJDJ, DJ Cuebeats and received support from DJ Carcious (YFM Kumasi) and DJ Ganj (YFM Accra).
DJs and hypemen from other brands who supported the event include; Yoofi Eyeson (Spice fm), DJ Storm (Beach Fm), DJ Mawuli (Westgold radio), DJ Paa Kwesi, DJ Berry (Sky Power Fm), DJ Gomez (GoodNews Fm), MC Tea Bag, Radio Man Ferggy (Radio Premiere) and Godfrey Ainoo (Formerly of Starr Drive).

Agyekum Gyimah, Programmes Manager for Y97.9FM, commenting on the PM2AM activation noted he was thrilled with the reception from the people of Taadi, especially those in the diaspora who streamed the show.
