Rex Omar and Zylofon Music's Obibini copyright issues resolved

Veteran high-life musician Rex Omar and Zylofon Media has amicably resolved issues concerning Zylofon Media’s rapper Obinini who sampled a hook from one of Rex Omar’s songs without his permission.
Reports indicate Rex Omar has decided to let go of the matter and also accepted to mentor musicians on Zylofon Music’s label.
In an interview with Rex omar he confirmed to reporters that he has resolved the issue with Zylofon Media and that his main interest was not to bring Zylofon Media into disrepute but as chairman of Ghana music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), he took that action to provide enlightenment on copyright related issues.
Rex Omar who initially wrote to Zylofon Media through his lawyers Poku Adusei & Associates of Oyikwan Chambers and gave Zylofon Media a 10-day ultimatum has confirmed to he had a fruitful meeting with Obibini’s management team.
