Y97.9FM’s eloquent radio presenter Maxlyn Chelsy Sey has been adjudged the Radio Personality of the Year in the Western Region at the just ended Radio and Television Personality Awards.
Chelsy, who is the host of Y97.9FM’s Ryse N Shyne show has served listeners with a galore of excitement, motivation and interactive content. Her refreshing contents on the show always sets an energetic mood for the morning.
A lot of effort she puts in her work no doubt elevated her in the esteemed category as she competed with the likes of Yoofi Eyeson of Spice FM, Kojo Brace of Skyy Power FM, Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM, Hon. Anastasia of Angel FM, among others.
Delighted at receiving her award, Chelsy expressed, “You can tell I am shaking. I want to first say a very big thank you to God Almighty for giving me this talent. Meanwhile, Chelsy Sey has grabbed two nominations in the upcoming Western Radio and TV Personality (WRTP) Awards 2020 in the categories of Best Female Presenter and Morning Show Host of the Year.
