SarkCess Music’s Sarkodie in a latest interview has revealed he lacked the heart to stand rejection while he was coming up as a rapper.
The ‘Hope‘ rapper in a conversation with his former manager Dr. Duncan on his SarkCess Music channel reminisced;
“When I was coming up as a rapper, it was hard for me to handle rejection. I was not used to rejection at the time. Those days, for you to disgrace me because of rap, I will rather go home. I remember there were events you go to and try to perform but they turn you down.”
“I lacked the heart to stand rejection but you had the confidence to handle these type of situations very well. A lot of the places we went to, if I was alone I’m sure I would have walked away after they turned me a way.”
