Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy Detained By Police Over #VGMA20 Clash

According to Nana Asiamah ‘Bulldog’ Hanson, Dancehall heavyweights Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been detained by police for questioning after the #VGMA20 melee which ensued on May 19th.
“We are here at the regional headquarters and amazingly the police is detaining both Charles Nii Armah Mensah and stonebwoy for an offense the latter committed at the VGMA’s yesterday…” Bulldog shared on social media.
The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards came to a halt after a fight broke out on stage between the camp of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale after the winner of the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artist’ was announced.
Patrons of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, held at the all new Dome inside the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) started running after Stonebwoy reportedly pulled a gun on stage during the 20th edition of the ceremony.
