Shatta Wale Blasts Sarkodie

Irrespective of the relationship between Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, the Dancehall King who is currently promoting The Reign album has revealed he will not hesitate to charge his counterpart for collaborative projects.
Detailing reasons behind his new position, Shatta Wale stated;
“Sarkodie needs some money and things. I told Sark, if you don’t let people know you have something you will never have them. Poor men in town cannot roll with rich men. Artists meet big men and they want to act big but that doesn’t help anyone in the end.”
Talking about charging Sarkodie for collaborations, Shatta reminisced;
“There is this song he sent that I want to charge him before I work on because they have taken certain things for granted. That is how we can keep our colleagues on their toes. A man who fears money will never get money.
“I have a very nice relationship with Sarkodie but when we did ‘Me Gye Wo Girl’ he was not serious to shoot the video. I talk to Sarkodie every day because he is my guy but I felt disrespected in a way because when he does songs with Nigerians he quickly shoots the videos for them.”
