Shatta Wale is currently on a media run to detail what went into creating ‘The Reign’ album which is scheduled to premiere on October 13 at the Fantasy Dome in Trade Fair.
The multiple hits factory discussing his music, life and spirituality touched on his faith and disclosed why he does not go to church.
“Most of the pastors in Ghana are my friends.” Shatta disclosed. “But it’s hard for me to go to church these days. Duncan Williams is my main pastor and I want to go to church but when I do, some of these pastors and congregation get too excited.
“I went to one of these churches and the pastor was too excited but I don’t want to go into a church house and people see me as Shatta Wale and as it stands now, it can’t be done so the best way is to wait and sit at the back; but that is also difficult because whenever people notice me; it turns into something else.”
‘The Reign’ which comes after ‘ReDial’ and ‘After The Storm’ has seventeen songs on it and features only Olamide.
