Upcoming Ghanaian RB and Soul act, J.E.N.N.Y has shared his reasons why he named his debut EP ‘Singer Man’.
As many artistes and record makers attribute their first major projects to loved ones, tragic incidents they survived and sometimes memorable events. J.E.N.N.Y did no different and named his EP after his High School nickname ‘The Singer Man’.
Speaking in an interview with Y 107.9 FM’s Akosua Hanson on the ‘Y Lounge’ show, he said; “ ‘Singer Man’ is a very funny story, it is something that happened way back in school. My Peers used to call me ‘The Singer Man’ that was because I used to sing a lot in school and they had never heard any male sing like how I did. So, I decided to go back to my roots and find that one thing that takes me back for my debut EP and I chose my nickname in school ‘Singer Man’.”
‘The Singer Man’ is a 5-track Extended Playlist including harmonious and melodious songs like ‘My Place’, ‘Far Away’, ‘Tip Toe’, ‘Eye Red’ and ‘Roses’.
J.E.N.N.Y is currently promoting the EP and entreats all music enthusiasts to stream his songs and anticipate other projects he is yet to release.
