Takoradi ‘Walks It Out’ With Y 97.9 FM

It was an energetically filled weekend for the lovers of Takoradi’s favorite youthful station Y97.9fm over the weekend as the station engaged its audience in a 1 day packed event.
The morning saw some corporate individuals, social and keep fit clubs, organizations amongst others converging at the forecourt of the Japan Motors office in Takoradi for the maiden edition of  “Y Walk it Out”. The weel attended health walk also had nurses from the Doctors in Service Hospital in Takoradi screen participants.
According to the Manager of YFM Takoradi, Agyekum Gyimah both the  “Y Walk It Out” and “A Nite with YFM” which took place at the forecourt of Japan Motors and Champs Sports Bar respectively have come to stay to encourage healthy living and to bond with the listeners of the station.
Patrons of both events couldn’t hide their excitement as the On Air Personalities of the station took turns on the karaoke stage to sing their favorite songs and engaged their fan base at Champs Sports Bar later in the evening.
