Ghanaian Afrobeats/ Afro-fusion artistes and Dancers, Lali and Lola, have disclosed how different it is doing music.
According to Lali who happens to be in the country at the moment, their music journey aside being fun and educative has been hard.
Talking to Rev. Erskine on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show, she said, “We’ve been doing music for about 7 months now and we love it. The journey is hard I’m not going to lie, it’s hard but fortunately we have people who come to support us to make things easier.”
She explained that, the willingness of others to support them is what keeps them going most of the time. “We don’t believe in forcing anyone to do something they don’t want to do so, all of it is organic like the love, performance and everything they see is all organic.”
Lali also believes they also get support because of their branding.
She however argued that, there are also some people who will disappoint them. With that in mind, they have come to understand it’s all a part of how the business goes so they no longer get hurt and disappointed when they face such challenges.
“We know it’s a journey and we are ready to accept everything that comes with it,” she emphasized.
