Ghanaian dancehall artiste and entrepreneur, Shatta Wale, has attacked actress and businesswoman, Jackie Appiah on social media with some very wild allegations.
Apparently, Shatta Wale is calling out the actress simply because he says she disagreed with an opinion he shared long during the Covid outbreak that industry players should pay each other when they want support.
In a video sighted on social media, Shatta Wale stated that he used to have a lot of respect for the actress, however, she needs to stop trying to paint a fake picture for actresses in Ghana because she is not really an actress and everyone knows what they (actresses) do for money in Ghana.
“Jackie Appiah, you’re not an actress. Forget yourself. I used to respect you a lot but now, the picture that you’re trying to paint for female actresses, you need to stop it because people know what you’re doing in Ghana. Stop it”, he said.
“When was the last time you did a movie that sold $1m? You always want people to know that you’re living the life because you’re an actress but there are actresses who are suffering and we know about your ‘Toto work. If ‘toto work’ was the best, I would’ve turned gay and allowed men to have sex with me just to give me money’, he bluntly added.
He warned Jackie to stop trying to live the celebrity life when she is not because a true celebrity lives a life that makes them worthy to be called one. “If you like, check what a celebrity is in Europe or America”, he told her.
Shatta Wale, in conclusion, advised Jackie Appiah to stop lying to the next generation because according to him, it is a curse she is bringing upon herself.
