Highlife crooner, Kwaisey Pee has released a Prince Dovlo-made video for his recent single. The song, a smooth love number confessing exasperation from a daunting union, features YaaYaa, the talented chanteuse formerly trading by the stage name “Bertha.”
Titled “Mabre,” the number, toothsome highlife typical of the singer privately known as Akwasi Opoku, adds to an array of recent well-received offerings by him, including collaborations with Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Kofi B among others.
Son of the great Agyaaku, Pee is renowned for songs like ‘Krokro Me,’ ‘Akona Yaa,’ ‘Me Hia Odo,’ ‘Ku Me Preko,’ and ‘Osugyani.” He’s also been associated with top highlife bands including Jewel Ackah’s Butterfly Six and Nana Tuffour’s Sikadwa.
