Immediate past president of the Chattered institute of Bankers and Head, Customer Service Quality and Post Integration Manager, Ecobank, RT. REV. MR.S Patricia Sappor, has highlighted the significant part working at KFC impacted on her role at Ecobank.
Having stayed in the United Kingdom (UK) for her tertiary education, the seasoned banker worked at the popular KFC, where she built the foundation of her customer service prowess.
Touting KFC as a hub of customer service training, she said, “I loved working at KFC and the kind of training I was put through was the best. I learnt a lot about customer service at KFC. Putting everything together, I think working at KFC was a good place for my career advancement. I can say it played a key role in my advancement at Ecobank.”
Having worked at Ecobank for nearly 22years, the experienced banker describes the bank as one of the best paying banks in Ghana, with an interest in the well-being of its staff.
Prior to working at Ecobank, RT. REV. MR.S Patricia Sappor had interviewed with three (3) other banks, awaiting their feedback. Comparing them with Ecobank, she told Rev Erskine on Y107.9FM’s YLeaderBoard Series, “I will consider Ecobank as one of the best banks in Ghana and also one of the best paying banks in the country. At the time I has attended 3 interviews at other banks and while I was working at Ecobank, one of the three sent me a letter but what they offered me was a fraction of what I earned at Ecobank. I have been happy working at Ecobank for the past 22 years.”
