Having proved to be Ghana’s no.1 urban radio station and an impactful vessel for the youth, YFM has announced the 2023 edition of the Y Leaderboard Series.
The Y Leaderboard Series, entering its 5th year is arguably Ghana’s most innovative and inspiring career modeling programme that aims to empower young people and help them reach their full potential. With its popular host, Rev Erksine, an astute personality in the Ghanaian media landscape, the series promises to give an up-close experience to the youth with some of the country’s most prominent and influential individuals – across various disciplines and industries.
This week’s episode, which will air on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, will feature Prof. Edward Appiah, the Director-General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA). Prof. Appiah is a highly regarded philosopher and education expert. He will spare time to recount his early childhood and education, insights and experiences on the importance of education and how it can help shape the future of Ghana’s youth.
The Y Leaderboard Series is designed to be a platform for young people to learn from the best and brightest in their fields. Through a combination of interviews and engagements across social media platforms and call-ins, young individuals will be privileged to a wide range of topics, including career development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
In addition to the weekly episodes, the fifth edition of the Y Leaderboard Series is expected to be much better as YFM will use its platform to announce training and mentorship opportunities programmes and networking events as well as provide beneficial resources across our social media platforms.
These resources including the “Black History Month” on YFM are designed to support and inspire young people to pursue their passions and reach their goals, no matter how big or small they may be.
