Ghana’s no.1 urban radio station YFM, has revamped its most exciting and competitive pool contest, formerly “Hunters Pool Tournament” to the “National Pool Tournament”.
The National Pool Tournament will see an array of players from all over Ghana compete for the title of the cue king.
The National Pool Tournament is designed to bring together passionate, brilliant and skilled players of the pool game across the country and compete against each other, earn the bragging right as the country’s ultimate Pool star and stand a chance to win a whooping Ghc10,000.
“The previous edition of the YFM Pool Tournament was exciting and fierce with competition. The contest will begin with intra-regional teams competing against each other to represent the region. We have also partnered with the National Sports Authority and are extremely hopeful the contest will receive all the support it deserves hence promoting competitive pool tournament,” Project Lead of the YFM National Pool Tournament, Mr. Manasseh Kwafo said.
On his part, Head of YFM Triangle, Osei Kuffuor shared, “Consistency levels up the field for progress and development and that has been an influential element with our activities at YFM. I’m proud we’ve been able to channel that into our pool tournament, giving everyone irrespective of the location to compete and have some fun.”
The National Pool Tournament is set to be launched on Friday, October 21 at the Superb Lounge in Kokomlemle, Accra in partnership with the National Sports Authority.
