#YFMTakoradi: Chelsy and DJ Gunshot take over ‘Ryse N Shyne’

There has been a shake-up in personnel hosting Takoradi YFM’s early morning show, ‘Ryse N Shyne’ with Chelsy and DJ Gunshot taking over from Kwame Legend and Alhaji Swit.
Before the change, the show was hosted by Kwame Legend and was produced by AlhajI Swit. This change means that, Chelsy will be hosting whiles production and good music credit goes to DJ Gunshot.
When asked the reasons behind the change, the new programs manager of YFM; Mr Agyekum Gyimah stated that, “the show needed a new direction. One that portrays the exciting new outlook of YFM.”
Chelsy Sey is a broadcast Journalist, an event MC and a brand influencer. She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Procurement and an Hnd in Textile Design from the Takoradi Technical University.
The co-host for the maiden edition of Western Music Awards, worked with Paragon for 4 years. In 2017 she hosted a relationship lifestyle talkshow, #the RealTalk and co-hosted Paragon’s Drive-time show; The Purple Boulevard which helped put Paragon at the number 1 position for months.
The YFM ‘Ryse N Shyne’ show is aired in Takoradi on YFM each and every weekday from 6am – 9am.
