You Don’t Need A Phone To Go Live On Facebook Anymore

That’s right. Forget shaky live videos from your iPhone. You can now go Live on Facebook directly from your laptop or desktop.
Live video is probably one of the most exciting features to ever make its way to the general public. Thanks to Facebook – but also Periscope and the late Meerkat – we are now all able to go live at any moment in time.
But while it has been great to go live on Facebook from our mobile devices (since last year), nothing compares to the stable camera setup that our desktops or laptops can provide. And that’s why I’m really excited about Facebook’s new feature: Live video from your desktop or laptop.
To get started, simply click “Live Video” from the top of your News Feed or Timeline, then follow the prompts in the same way you would have done from your mobile.
