The Creative Director of Nurtorla Clothing, Erica Dogbeda Yaotsey has shared how stormed into the fashion scene without any formal training.
The brain behind the brand making the corporate Ghanaian woman look dapper, believes her talent is ingrained.
Speaking to Kokonsa Kester on Y107.9FM’s Weekend Rush Show, she shared, “The talent was inherent and it was just about time it came out. But I watch a lot of YouTube videos so probably I can say YouTube is my fashion school. That is the power of internet and social media.”
Crediting her creative venture to social media, she also acknowledged God for the gift “and that’s a gift I am thankful of each single day.”
According to her, she started the brand because of her experience as a corporate woman. “I used to be a corporate woman and I know how hectic it can be just getting a dress because you do the regular 8am to 5pm and barely get time on weekends.”
Nurtorla Clothing has some amazing packages for the career woman which help them get more for less. “We have the Dorwula card which gives the corporate woman an amount of discount and free deliveries for 6 months.”
The brand is not limited to the corporate woman but offers a bespoke service and is soon going to unveil a line for men.
