Our society is sometimes unfair to a lot of people. It mostly ignores the aged, homeless, disabled and orphans.
While some show them the tender love and care they need, many others treat them badly and make them feel worthless for a situation they had no control over.
After all, they did not create themselves and, they obviously do not wish to be in the unfortunate position they find themselves in.
As far as I am concerned, all these people want is love, attention and care but unfortunately it turns out to be the opposite.
My question is, are these people not humans, do they not deserve the love and care we all enjoy? Why are they treated differently and made outcasts in society?
Some who happen to be in families, are unfortunately blamed for their misfortunes, whereas they are innocent and know nothing about all those.
How do we then grow to become better people for ourselves and our society if we keep treating these “special” people around us and in our lives as though they are valueless.
All these people want is to feel a part of us. They only want to be shown love and care and feel like a part of society and I think it is also the right thing to do.
More work needs to be done when it comes to caring for such people, and I strongly believe that we can do better as individuals, families, corporate bodies and as a country.
The work cannot be done by one person, it is something we should all come together to achieve like the saying goes ‘a broom tied together cannot be broken until it is picked a stick at a time’.
Together, we can help make these people feel a part of us and not a burden. Let’s love them, help them, assist them and make them feel a part of us.
It is the least we can do to help them, ourselves and the society.
