Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Adina has has disclosed what music means and its importance to her.
The musician cannot imagine herself in a world without music because she has always been a fan of music.
“I don’t know how my life would have been if I’d done something else apart from music. Like if I was a banker or teacher I don’t know how my life would be. No disrespect to any of those professions. I believe it’s their passion and that’s why they’re doing it, but for me I think God created me purposely to do music,” she told Akua Sika on Happy 98.9FM’s Happy Evening Drive.
The talented singer acknowledged that everything related to music has the power to switch up her mood and affect her positively or even negatively.
“Music has that effect on me and God has also blessed me with this amazing voice. So, how will I have this voice and say I’m not going to do music. It is all I believe I was created to do and I’ve known right from the start I was meant to do music” she explained.
Adina revealed that she has always been a singer and started singing as child in school, church everywhere.
“Everyone who knows me knows me as Adina the girl who sings. I knew and always told myself that I was going to be a musician”she emphasized.
