Ed Sheeran released his third studio album on the 3rd of March (which is the third month of the year… hmm, I’m starting to pick up a pattern here). The album is a decent listen if you’re into folk-acoustic-pop but the highlight from an African point of view has to be the song that Ed wrote and performed in Ghanaian Twi.
THere were mixed reactions to his decision to write “Bibia Be Yeye” but once we heard it, we were pleasantly surprised. After spending time reading the credits of the album we also realised that the song was produced by two Ghanaian heavyweights: Fuse ODG and producer, Killbeatz.
