At Last: Here’s How You Can Verify Your Instagram Profile

Instagram is finally letting users verify their profiles on its platform.
Our prayers and those of would-be influencers have finally been answered. Instead of hopelessly asking around and secretly wishing to acquire the coveted “blue tick”, users will now have the opportunity to apply for Instagram profile verification.

This doesn’t mean that the process is open to everyone though; instead, there is now a fixed process in place for users to navigate with relative ease. To request a verified badge, you must be a public figure, celebrity, or brand, and meet certain account and eligibility requirements – as set by Instagram.

So, without further ado, here’s a quick guide on how to get verified on Instagram. Once you’re logged into your account, tap on the Settings option and then click on ‘Request Verification’.
