Azumah Nelson Receives WBC Champion Award

Legendary Ghanaian boxer Azumah Nelson has been presented with the World Boxing Council (WBC) Champion Award.
The prestigious award was bestowed at the ongoing 55^th WBC Convention in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Also honored at the event were American former boxers Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins and Soviet-born Australian former boxer Kostya Tszyu.
The WBC convention which will take place from 1-6 October 2017 is a meeting which seeks to gather the 165 member countries of the WBC.
