Known for his wild selections on YFM Accra’s morning show #RyseNShyne and Cup and Bass mixtapes, he earned a nod in the Afrobeat/Hiplife DJ of the Year and Mixtape of the Year categories.
DJ Loft‘s nominations follow an impressive year where he has expressed his art at several events and carved a niche for himself with mixes including ‘The Dangerous Mix’, ‘Loft is Not Your Mate’, and ‘The Amplified Mix’. In previous years, the Ghana DJ Awards scheme has nominated DJ Loft in the Discovery DJ of the year, Best Night Club DJ, and Best Mobile DJ of the year categories.
DJ Loft‘s style can be described as versatile and fast-paced. His ability to mix music and constantly present to his audience addictive sounds creates the perfect atmosphere one would want to find themselves in. His “Cup and Bass (Afrobeats and Asaka)” mix with Kojo Manuel is a testimony to his skills.
DJ Loft expressed gratitude to Ghana DJ Awards for the nominations and encouraged lovers and fans of his mixes to vote for him. “I have no words to describe how I feel about these nominations. I hope to win at least one of them”, he added.
