Singer Eazzy (Mildred Ashong) has issued her long-awaited SOLO EP. A five-song set, the project is produced entirely by Mix Masta Garzy, and serves primarily Afrobeats pulses, even though there are shadows of reggae and bashment too.
This is Eazzy’s first body of work since 2014. With it, she hopes to make a significant splash, and register a strong comeback.
Other songs that constitute the EP are “Celebrate,” “Solo,” “Odo,” and “Love.” Eazzy is famed for “Wengeze,” and “Forever,” her heartfelt partnership with Mr. Eazi.
Born in 1986, Eazzy has been active since 2009. Her albums include Twinkle (2010), and Against All Odds (2014). She’s a practitioner of Afrobeats/ Afropop, and hip-hop.
Here are visuals for “Away,” a MEDiKAL-assisted dance-ready manifesto against sweet talking from well-built men without much substance.
