Established Ghanaian publisher and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Glitz Africa Magazine and the Glitz Style Awards, Claudia Lumor, has shared the self-care routine for unlocking a fortified personality and fulfilling success.
According to Miss Lumor, despite the complexities of her busy schedule, she prioritizes herself and as well spends ample time with family and friends.
In an interview with Rev, Erskine on Y107.9 FM’s Leaderboard Series, she shared a glimpse of a day in Claudia Lumor’s life as she reiterated that everything about her business is primarily in meetings and pitches to clients.
“I have three children and I’m very much involved in their lives because at the end of the day I’m a mom first. Getting out and making sure they’re ready for school, rushing to the office for meetings. My life is more about pitching because we have a production company. So, I produce a lot of corporate events, project management, other jobs for government and the UN. So sometimes it is just back to back meetings, client meetings and I probably get to the office maybe an hour to make sure my team is good,” she shared.
“Sometimes I’m still working till like 10 pm and then if we have production they’ll be production meetings in the evening and there are also setups and all of that. But I still try to look out for myself especially on weekends. I go to the spa, go have breakfast with my children and things like that,” she stressed.
Reacting to what she loves doing best with her free time, she highlighted some fun time with the usual ‘Netflix and chill’ narrative and hanging out with friends. She encouraged the youth to make time with friends and catch up on social life despite tough and busy schedules.
“I love restaurants, I don’t eat much but I love good food. I’m not a night club person or anything like that but I love to go out for dinner. So when I’m not working, I’m always texting my friends and they usually come to me for suggestions on hangouts spots. If I’m not going out for dinner I’m a Netflix person. I just watch Netflix all the time or news” she added.
Claudia Lumor over the years has made an enviable impact on the Ghanaian fashion and entertainment industry through Glitz Africa Magazine, Glitz Style Awards and the thrilling Glitz Africa Fashion Week Ghana.
