Ghanaian rapper and singer M.anifest has advised Ghanaians to look out for and also support the agenda of the next generation of musicians.
He believes the next generation has a lot more in store for the country but, they are not being given the chance to showcase fully what they have to offer.
In an interview with Kojo Manuel on Y 107.9 FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe Show, he said, “There’s enough light with the sun so bright for everyone to enjoy. And that’s how the agenda for any success scene works out with everyone flourishing”.
He furthered that one thing lots of artistes pretend to do is to be supporting others when honestly, all they want is for just them to succeed. “And this should not be the case”.
“It is always in their own interest but they just keep parroting supporting each other. But if you really watch their movements and read in between the lines of what they’re saying and how they react at other people’s success, you will know that it’s fake”, he said.
Not saying it as an attack to them, he advised artistes involved in such acts to put a stop to it, change their mind set and rather push the upcoming artistes.
He believes this hypocritical attitude is not helping the industry especially, the next generation. And also because they are the future of Ghana music.
