Ghanaian film maker, Ivan Quashigah has advised the youth to write down their set goals and targets so they do not forget them.
From his perspective, he realised that if someone writes down his or her goals, the person is more inclined toward achieving them.
To support his point, he shared his experiences on Y107.9FM’s Y Leaderboard Series with Rev. Erskine when he mentioned how he was able to achieve his dreams by following this rule.
“I used to be a camera man for International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), one day I listened to Pastor Mensa Otabil, when he taught about setting your goals, how you can achieve your goals and how you need to write your plans down. I started practicing them and wrote down my goals. It helped me to know the next step to take right from my first year in school.”
The ‘Yolo’ producer continued that planning your life well and writing it down will inspire you to keep going on in life even if you encounter difficulties.
“Writing things down helps me know where I am and where I want to go. It energizes me to keep going and always strive for the best.”
He concluded that we should celebrate every achievement we make and reward ourselves to show that we worked for it and we are pleased with it. After we are done celebrating it, we should close that chapter and move on to the next target.
