Introducing Ronaldinho’s 13-year-old son Joao Mendes.
The talented youngster attended a try-out at Cruzeiro and reportedly ‘charmed the scouts’ in view to joining the Brazilian outfit.
According to reports from Globo, Mendes hid his identity from Cruzeiro’s scouts.
So he had a trail at the club without anyone knowing his family lineage.
He’s also trained at Paris Saint-Germain’s training base in Brazil – his fathers first European side.
But will he sign for Cruzeiro?
Well, the club cannot yet secure his services as Mendes is only 13. Brazilian FA dictates that he can only put pen to paper on a professional contract at the age of 14.
Further reports claim his mother, Janaina Natielle Mendes, will make the final decision on his future.
Ronaldinho plied his trade for a few Brazilian teams but never ran out for Cruzeiro.
He graduated from Gremio’s youth academy before playing for them professionally. He also represented Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro and Fluminense.
Not to mention starring across Europe for the likes of PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan.
Will Mendes follow in the foot steps of his legendary old man and play for some of the biggest clubs in the world?
