Hiplife Grandpapa Reginald Yaw Asante Osei, popularly known as Reggie Rockstone in Showbiz has shared what he wants his legacy to be.
After his enviable musical career, one would expect that the music legend and pioneer of highlife music in Ghana would leave a lasting and desirable Legacy.
Speaking on the Y Leaderboard Series with Princess AJ on Y 107.9 FM, he said; “My legacy is shaped up through what I did on this planet as far as music goes they are always going to associate me with hip life, however, I am also known for my charitable works and for my pan Africanism. But above all i want to known as that African who stood and remained firm regardless.”
Adding to his numerous achievements, Reggie Rockstone added that he wanted to be known as an African who worked effortlessly in the good name of an Africa.
“English is my first language, but I flipped it and started rapping in Twi, I am selling Waakye now, I have ventured into a lot of businesses all as an African. So, I want to be known as that dude who came home and put in hard work and was all about Africa,” he said.
Reggie Rockstone further urged young artistes to live lives worth emulating by people who look up to them while in the limelight.
